Projects

Take a look at some of our recent projects and get inspired.

Grace Evangelical Free Church

Elkader, Iowa

Grace Evangelical Free Church in Elkader needed several technological upgrades to their audio and video systems. First, their wireless microphones were no longer FCC compliant and they wanted to bump up the quality of the singers and speakers. Then they wanted to add a PTZ camera along with video production capabilities for on site distribution and live streaming. Last, their projector was old and dim. It didn't have HDMI or SDI inputs, and a new lamp didn't help with the brightness.

To meet their current needs and future plans, we specified the following:
Shure QLXD wireless with antenna distribution
Vaddio PTZ Camera
Epson Projector
Black Magic Design ATEM video switcher/encoder

Now their services look and sound better than ever before, and this is just the beginning! We will be headed back next month to upgrade the power amplifiers and provide some more video distribution.

Lutheran Church of the Resurrection

Marion, IA

Many churches have had to transition toward online services and Lutheran Church of the Resurrection in Marion, Iowa had a decision to make. They decided to call Paradigm LED, LLC and partner with us for their live video streaming installation. The online services were going to continue and borrowing personal equipment from folks in the congregation was not a long term solution.

Paradigm worked closely with the team at LCR to determine their needs: Turnkey solution, professional quality, easy for volunteers to learn and use, and portable. Together we selected 2 cameras 1 PTZ and 1 Zoom, camera controller, video switcher, web presenter, streaming PC, and everything needed for the portable livestreaming suite. Their online videos look and sound great for the folks who need to attend services from home or remotely.

Trinity United Methodist

Huxley, Iowa

Paradigm LED, LLC, was approached by, Trinity United Methodist church in Huxley Iowa, about rebuilding their sound system. After several conversations, budgetary considerations, and plan modifications we settled on providing 1 center speaker and a rack mounted mixer. Due to the shape and size of the sanctuary Tectonic Audio Labs proved to be the perfect solution. We replaced the center cluster with 1 Tectonic Audio Labs DML 500. We specified an Allen & Heath Heath QU-PAC rack mount digital console due to its easy learning curve and space requirements. Their existing power conditioner, wireless receivers, and the console were mounted into a low profile rack case. Due to budgetary restrictions we repurposed the QSC RMX 1450 amplifier from the old system. As another cost saving measure we were able to reuse the speaker drive lines so we didn't need to run new cabling. The new setup looks smart, sounds great, and is easy to use.

Springs of Life Foursquare Church

Cedar Rapids, IA

Springs of Life Foursquare Church in Cedar Rapids has a new display in the Lobby!

Social distancing guidelines have necessitated holding some classes in the lobby. The 70" TV had been purchased to show song lyrics during early live stream services and was able to be repurposed as a lobby display. This new setup can show live video content from the main sanctuary, or teachers can plug an HDMI device into the wall plate to display classroom material locally.
